Getting to Iguazu Falls





The main destination airport hub in Brazil is Guarulhos International Airport at São Paulo (GRU). From GRU there is a set of daily direct flight to Iguazu Falls Airport (IGU) with Latam and Gol Airlines. The direct flights from GRU to IGU takes about 1 hour and 30 min. Some international airports with direct flights to GRU: Atlanta, New York, Chicago, Houston, Miami, Dallas, Newark, Washington, Montreal, Toronto, Mexico City, Cancun, Dubai, Doha, Paris, Frankfurt, Rome, Milan, Lisbon, Porto, Amsterdam, Madrid, Barcelona, London, Zurich, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Lima, Addis Abeba, Panama City, Istanbul.

Make attention that there is another airport at São Paulo, the Congonhas Airport (CGH) that also have direct flights to Iguazu Falls. If plan to fly to GRU, it is recommended to avoid to transfer from GRU to CGH, that can take a large amount of time, depending on the traffic. There are also direct flights to IGU from other international airports in Brazil: Galeão at Rio de Janeiro (GIG), Porto Alegre (POA), Viracopos at Campinas (VCP), Curitiba (CWB), Florianópolis (FLN). The Aiport of Iguassu (IGU) also receive direct flights from Montevideo and from Santiago de Chile. There is a national airport at Puerto Iguazu (IGR), in the Argentina side with flights from Buenos Aires and other cities in Argentina.
